Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book an appointment?
When you have an idea of what youre wanting to get, you can fill out this form and Ill get back to you on booking!
When should I not get tattooed?
If you’re not fully sure about what you’re wanting to get done, its always better to wait! If you have alcohol in your system, or are on any kind of blood thinner, antibiotics, or Accutane I cannot tattoo you. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or concussed I cannot tattoo you! If you have any allergies to anything please let me know beforehand 🙂
How much do tattoos cost?
My hourly rate is $150. There are so many variables that go into tattoo cost, that it’s impossible to give a proper quote without knowing the exact size, design and body placement. Generally, the larger the tattoo the harder it will be to give an appropriate estimate. But I will always try my best to give you an accurate quote if asked!Â
Can I use numbing cream?
If you are interested in using numbing cream please contact me before your appointment, as it takes about an hour of sitting on skin to start working. Its totally fine to use, but it isn’t a cure all and its never 100% effective, it often doesn’t last throughout the whole tattoo for longer sessions, and effectiveness varies from person to person. I usually recommend to try to get through it without, unless you really need it! For first tattoos, I will usually never recommend it, as it can be very jarring to the body if it stops working and you aren’t sure what to expect. If you have any more questions about it please contact me!
How can I tell if theres something wrong with my tattoo?
Fresh tattoos often are usually sore (like a bruise or sunburn) a few days after the day it was done, sometimes light bruising in more sensitive areas of the body can happen. While the wrap is on it can sometimes have a puddle / bubble of blood, ink, or plasma. (totally normal) Afterwards some itching, flaking, peeling or light scabbing is totally normal! If there is any puss, or major pain afterwards, or it just feels off, please contact me or another trusted tattoo artist, or healthcare professional for advice! With any possible infections its always better to be safe rather than sorry!
What are your payment options?
I take cash, and have a payment machine, so debit and credit also works! If your card has any transaction limits I can always split up payments, or use E-Transfer instead!
How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?
For special cases I tattoo 16+ with parental consent, if its a cover up, or memorial tattoo, but generally I like to keep it 18+ to minimize any tattoo regret. It also is important to get tattoos after you’re fully done growing so the image doesn’t morph as your body changes
